Enclosed: PEROUSE (Gabriel). The Abbey of Talloires. Drawings by André Jacques. Chambéry, Dardel, 1923. In-4, 99 pages, half-leather binding with corner pieces. (Wear to the binding; adhesive tape on the spine and half-leather binding) First edition, with 34 illustrations or typographic ornaments in the text, based on drawings by André Jacques printed in bronze using phototypography, including 7 full-page illustrations [one as a frontispiece], a heraldic vignette on the title page, and an ornate initial letter printed in red chalk. With a dedication from the artist André Jacques and formerly owned by Marguerite Imbert.
