Schröter, Erasmus. At Night. 3 silver gelatin prints on photographic paper. Vintage. 1980s. Sheet dimensions: between 20 x 30 cm and 13.5 x 42.5 cm. Erasmus Schröter (1956–2021) used ORWO’s NI 750 infrared film and invisible infrared light to photograph people in the dark, unobserved and unseen. This resulted in images of Leipzig’s nightlife that are unvarnished and taken straight from real life. — The photographs are slightly worn, some with superficial scratches, a few crease marks, and one sheet has a torn edge at the top.
