Diptych by the American photographer Dan (Daniel) Kane (b. 1954), who has lived and worked in Berlin since 1983. The nude photographs of his favorite models, Federico and Sven, were taken in 2013 in Beelitz-Heilstätten, one of Germany’s most famous “lost places,” located southwest of Berlin. - In 2025, the South Dakota Art Museum dedicated a comprehensive solo exhibition to the artist—who remains steadfastly committed to analog photography—titled “Over a Hundred Thousand Images Later: Dan Kane, a Retrospective.” - Very good.
