Tumarkin, Ygael. Untitled. (Clock). Collage and oil on canvas. Signed and dated on the reverse. 1960/61. Image size: 59 x 72 cm. Framed: 62 x 75 cm. A typical work by the Dresden-born Israeli sculptor and Land Art artist Ygael Tumarkin. He received the Israeli “Pras Yisrael” Art Prize in 2004 and has been exhibited at venues including the Wallraf-Richartz Museum, the Museum of Modern Art, and the Guggenheim Museum in New York, as well as the Tate Gallery. - Slightly dusty; the simple wooden frame shows color loss and, in places, more severe scuffs.
