Schapire H 242. - Inscribed on the lower edge of the print (recto) with “Scha 242” and “SHLM 1978/275,” the latter likely a collection inventory number. - An outstanding example and a market-fresh print from Schmidt-Rottluff’s early Expressionist printmaking; another copy of this rare woodcut is held in the collection of the Städel Museum in Frankfurt am Main. - On the reverse, mounted in a mat with two mounts, each attached to the upper corners of the sheet; the sheet shows minimal browning overall and has some inconspicuous foxing in places.
