The envelope is numbered in Roman numerals. Copy: II/VIII. 2007. Dimensions: approx. 12 x 12 x 6 cm (salt dough) and 25 x 20 cm (X-ray image). Created for the “Junge Sonderedition” of “Texte zur Kunst,” this multiple was produced in an edition of 30 plus 8 artist’s copies. This copy is one of the artist’s copies. - The metal box containing a mini-DVD, baked into a box-shaped block of salt dough, is accompanied by its own X-ray image. While the contents of the tin—both “analog” and “digital”—can only be surmised from the rattling sound it makes, the X-ray image reveals “nothing” more than a glowing round disc. - The salt dough is somewhat crumbly and chipped in a few places; the envelope and the cardboard box show some wear. - This item is not suitable for shipping via parcel service. The buyer must arrange for pickup or transport via a freight forwarder.
