Peri, Laszlo. *Spatial Construction 7*. Linocut on chamois-colored paper. Signed lower right. 1922–23. Image dimensions: 20.5 x 29 cm. Sheet dimensions: 31.5 x 38.5 cm. Laszlo Peri (1899–1967), an artist of the Hungarian Constructivist movement and a close friend of László Moholy-Nagy, lived in Berlin for many years and was deeply involved in the communist art and literary scene; and he also worked as an architect at the Berlin City Planning Office between 1924 and 1928. After the Nazis seized power, he fled to Great Britain, where he co-founded the Artists’ International Association in 1933. - The print is somewhat faint; the paper is slightly rough to the touch and, as is common with rare prints, has slight crease marks; there is a faint impression of a blue stamp in the lower right corner.
