Brüning, Max. Collection of seven etchings. Each signed in pencil. Circa 1925. Plate dimensions: ranging from 23 x 16 cm to 30 x 25 cm. A beautiful collection featuring portraits by Max Brüning (1887–1968), whose studio—after he moved to Berlin in 1923—quickly became a well-known gathering place for prominent figures from the worlds of film, art, sports, and politics. Brüning, who worked for magazines, designed posters, and also created etchings and pastels, became known above all for his erotically suggestive portraits of women and girls. - Slightly discolored; some show traces of a previous mounting on the reverse, others have small surface discolorations; one sheet is mounted under a mat.
