A little bit of history Louise Fontaine was a prestigious Brussels-based luxury leather goods house, particularly renowned for its elegant handbags crafted from precious exotic skins, especially crocodile. With boutiques on the fashionable Avenue Louise and in the Passage du Nord, the house catered to a sophisticated clientele. The exceptional craftsmanship of Louise Fontaine is also recognised by the Fashion & Lace Museum in Brussels, which preserves a Louise Fontaine leather vanity case dating from circa 1960 in its permanent collection.
