Dimensions Approx: 16 x 18 x 4 cm. (6.29 x 7.08 x 1.57 in.) Signed: Hermès Paris Made in France, letter W Delivered with Hermès box and dustbag. Excellent condition (probably never worn) A little bit of history Created in 1978 by Évelyne Bertrand, head of Hermès’ riding department, the iconic Evelyne bag was originally designed to carry horse-grooming equipment. Its distinctive perforated H was intended to allow damp brushes and sponges to dry, with the H originally worn against the body. Over the decades, the Evelyne evolved from a functional equestrian accessory into one of Hermès’ most beloved everyday handbags.
