Advertisement - Wenzel, Walter. Catalog No. 38 on Lamps and Lighting Fixtures. With approx. 400 illustrations. Halle, self-published, 1938. 2 leaves, 63 pp. 24 x 33 cm. New cardboard binding; the original front cover was incorporated into the binding. Catalog of a wholesale business that carried lamps from various manufacturers, ranging from bourgeois neo-Baroque to “New Objectivity.” Of particular interest are pages 40–42, 57, 61, and 63: they feature Bauhaus lamps and Kaiser-Dell fixtures, totaling approximately 70 pieces. In some cases, higher-quality paper was used for these pages; presumably, the original pages had been replaced at the time with these modern designs for an update. - Mostly browned due to the paper; occasional marginal discoloration; overall in good condition. - Included: 20 unlabeled original color sketches for lampshades and lamps in the style of the early 1920s. Mounted. Various sizes. *
