Bauhaus—This Is How the “Wild Ones” Live, and How Do You Live? Color brochure for the Rasch Wallpaper Factory’s designs. Designed by Ferdy Horrmeyer. No imprint (circa 1930). Unfolded: 23.5 x 42.5 cm. For the three collections: Bauhaus, May, and Weimar. Along with lamps, these wallpapers were among the Bauhaus’s most successful industrial designs. Rasch continued to market the Bauhaus collection under this name for several years after 1933. Horrmeyer (1890–1978) later taught at the “Nordische Kunsthochschule” in Bremen. Enclosed: a double-page spread with promotional text from A. Langen Verlag in Munich for Bauhaus Book 14 (Moholy-Nagy), aptly printed entirely in Fraktur typeface. The publisher apparently didn’t quite get the point…—Unused.
