Avant-garde - Eastern Europe - Dimitrijevic, Braco, and Nena. At the moment. Double-sided screen-printed poster for the exhibition on April 23, 1971. Zagreb, self-published, 1971. 66 x 46.5 cm. In the original printed transparent plastic sleeve. The exhibition, organized by Braco and Nena Dimitrijevic, took place in the entrance area of an ordinary apartment building at Frankopanska 2a in Zagreb. The exhibition lasted only three hours, on April 23, 1971, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and is considered the first international exhibition of conceptual art in Yugoslavia. The deliberate choice of a residential building’s entrance hall instead of a museum or gallery, as well as the exceptionally short duration, were essential components of the exhibition’s concept. Participants included Giovanni Anselmo, Robert Barry, Joseph Beuys, Stanley Brouwn, Daniel Buren, Victor Burgin, Jan Dibbets, Braco Dimitrijevic, Barry Flanagan, Grupa/E KOD, Grupa OHO, Douglas Huebler, Alain Kirili, Jannis Kounellis, David Lamelas, John Latham, Sol LeWitt, Goran Trbuljak, Lawrence Weiner, and Ian Wilson. - The illustrated front features a wedding photo of the Dimitrijevics and the text of the exhibition invitation for the participating artists; the back lists the artists and their contributions. - Folded multiple times; 2 small tears along the edges, approx. 0.5 cm; plastic sleeve slightly discolored; poster marginally discolored along the edges.
