Norway - Kapusta, Hubert. Collection of approximately 100 original photographs. Vintage prints. Gelatin silver. Mounted in glassine sleeves, bound in a ring binder. Circa 1940. Print sizes mostly range from 11 x 18 cm to 17 x 23 cm. Kapusta (1911–1985), a native of Warendorf, worked as a photographer and architect in Hamburg during the 1940s and 1960s. He evidently traveled extensively, particularly to Northern Europe. Notable in this collection—which likely dates to the 1940s—are the approximately 30 photographs from Lapland that document the life of the Sami people at that time. Most are stamped on the reverse, and some have small text labels attached. - Overall in good condition. #
