The editor is Konrad Leontorius (Leonberg). Pages 2–90 contain the 22 sections of the commentary on Psalm 118, the beginnings of which are marked with letters of the Hebrew alphabet, “the first cast Hebrew letters in Basel." (Hieronymus). The commentary on the Psalms is followed by commentaries on the Gospel of Luke and the Epistles of Paul. - The title page bears ownership inscriptions, including one by Leonhard Krämer (1577–1633), pastor in Obernburg. The first two leaves have been restored at the margins, resulting in the loss of individual words from the preface; the verso of leaf 1 has an ink stain; the last 10 leaves have faint moisture stains along the edge. *
