ARR. Provenance: Private Collection, UK. Note: The present work is characteristic of Moeller's oeuvre, which is largely comprised of rural scenes set in mountainous landscapes, frequently featuring cows, sheep, horses, and farm workers. A near-identical composition sold at Bernd Rieber, Stuttgart, on 6 December 2005 for €1,111 (lot 1171), whilst a similarly charming pastoral scene sold at Schloss Ahlden on 21 May 2025, lot 4898 (€1,600).
