Follower of Rosalba Carriera, Italian 1673-1757- Pair of portraits of young girls, each wearing a white bonnet and shawl, and holding a jar; each pastel on paper, each 39 x 31 cm., a pair (2). Provenance: Private Collection, UK. Note: The present pair of portraits are clearly heavily inspired by Carriera's dreamy pastel portraits, such as, for example, a depiction of Cleopatra which sold at Hampel, Munich, on 27 March 2025, lot 270, or her portrait of a young girl which sold at Christie's, Paris, on 26 March 2025, lot 12.
