FRANCESC BORDAS (Sabadell, 1957). “Study for a Nude,” May 1988. Oil on canvas. Signed, dated, and titled in the lower right corner. Measurements: 94 x 143 cm; 100.5 x 149.5 cm (frame). Francisco Bordas is part of the so-called “generation of Sabadell artists of the 1980s.” Deeply rooted in his hometown, Francisco Bordas has built a long career in contemporary art, evolving from his early landscape and figurative works to his current focus on conceptual art and geometric abstraction. His work has been regularly exhibited in Catalonia and France. His work can currently be found in galleries in Barcelona, Rome, Minsk, and Paris.
