MABEL HEREDIA (Valencia, 1979). “Alien Map,” 2026. “Contact” series. Acrylic on canvas. Signed in the lower right corner. Certificate of authenticity included. Measurements: 60 x 60 cm. Part of the “CONTACT” series, “Alien Map” translates the idea of an alien map—constructed through routes, signs, and enigmatic coordinates—into the language of gestural abstraction. The composition is structured around a network of intersecting black lines on a background of ochre tones, suggesting an unknown territory and possible trajectories beyond our galaxy. Mabel Heredia is a Valencian artist based in Barcelona whose work focuses on contemporary abstraction. Through gestural forms and textural hallmarks, her work explores ideas linked to the unknown, the imagination, and other possible realities. She has exhibited at venues such as the Thomson Gallery in Zug, the Nicoleta Gallery in Berlin, the Galerie Le Chien d’Or in Quebec, and the Carrousel du Louvre in Paris.
