Measurements: 100 x 74 cm Miquel Gironés develops a visual language rooted in Pop Art, featuring juxtaposed flat colors, seeking hallmarks of contrast, and emphasizing the line, which takes center stage. His compositions possess an iconic classicism, and in them he draws on the artistic techniques of abstraction to enhance the expressiveness of distinctly figurative images. He began his career with the exhibition “Torretes,” held in 1975 in his native Tarragona, followed by the 1976 exhibition “Jut” (Segovia).
