The work is part of the naturalistic style that characterizes Ana Mar Gil’s painting; she is particularly interested in depicting interiors, everyday objects, and lighting effects. Ana Mar Gil Urnicia began her career as a painter in Madrid in 2005 and trained in drawing and painting with Eduardo Peña and Guillermo Muñoz Vera. She has participated in competitions such as the BMW Contest and the Figurative Painting Contest organized by the Fundació de les Arts i els Artistes, in addition to holding solo exhibitions at the Pamplona College of Physicians Foundation and the Cofares Foundation in Madrid.
