From 1926, he taught anatomical drawing there; his acquaintances included Franz Kafka, Adolf Loos, Else Lasker-Schüler, and Sigmund Freud. His interest in Surrealism and friendships with André Breton, Salvador Dalí, Paul Éluard, Georges Ribemont-Dessaignes, Jacques Prévert, Joan Miró, René Magritte, and Yves Tanguy led to stays in Paris; in 1929, he contributed to the Second Surrealist Manifesto. PLEASE NOTE: The purchase price consists of the highest bid plus the buyer's premium, sales tax and, if applicable, the fee of artists resale rights and platform fee.
