Jean-Pierre LUSSEAU (1940–2018), Shadows and Light at Mourillon, SAM, Countryside, and CHIAPAS, 4 oil-on-canvas paintings signed lower right All dated between 1978 and 2015, titled on the reverse 30x30cm each Provenance: from the artist’s studio collection Evolving from a figurative style strongly influenced by the 19th-century masters and their perfect compositions to an abstract style heavily influenced by the 1950s (De Staël, Jackson Pollock), he combines action painting with colorful figuration, ranging from landscapes to female nudes.
