Alfred Rosenberg Autograph Document Signed at Nuremberg, Listing the Books that Built Nazi Ideology ADS in pencil, in German, signed "A. Rosenberg," one page both sides, 8 x 10.5, no date. Rosenberg catalogs his own published output since 1923 for the International Military Tribunal's biographical record. The list includes (translated): "The Protocols of the Wise Men of Zion and the Jewish Weltpolitik," "International Politics of the Masons," "The Congress of International Conspirators at Basle," and "The Myth of the 20th Century," the book that stood alongside Mein Kampf as a foundational text of Nazi racial ideology and helped supply the intellectual framework for the persecution and extermination that followed. Rosenberg also lists his role compiling "Schriften und Reden," a two-volume collection of his essays and speeches, and states he spoke at "public rallies in innumerable provinces, at school assemblies and festive hours," adding that giving an exact number is "not possible for me." In fine condition, with uniform toning and a small tear to the top edge. Accompanied by a deckle-edge photograph of Rosenberg's corpse after his execution by hanging. Rosenberg’s handwritten bibliography amounted to a stark record of the ideological work for which he was being called to account at Nuremberg. Long regarded as one of the Nazi Party’s principal theorists, he used works such as The Myth of the Twentieth Century to articulate a racial worldview built around antisemitism, Aryan supremacy, and territorial expansion—ideas that became deeply embedded in Nazi policy. His influence extended well beyond publishing: as Reich Minister for the Occupied Eastern Territories, Rosenberg bore responsibility for policies connected to the mass murder of Jews and the deportation of Soviet civilians for forced labor. The International Military Tribunal found him guilty on all four counts—conspiracy, crimes against peace, war crimes, and crimes against humanity—and sentenced him to death; he was hanged at Nuremberg on October 16, 1946.
