They depict two exercises and poses of academic horsemanship, featuring a rider dressed in 18th-century fashion and a horse against architectural backgrounds. Both feature titles and captions in French, German, and Latin in the lower margin. One is *Le pas aux murailles par la Droite*, engraved by Johann Gottfried Seuter after a composition by Johann Elias Ridinger; the other, *La vraye Assiette du Cavalier*, shows the correct riding position.
