40 Goyaesque prints of bullfighting scenes. Spanish School. 19th - 20th centuries. Prints on paper. Various sizes. The series consists of 40 prints depicting bullfighting scenes based on the famous models of Francisco de Goya, created between the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The scenes depict highly dramatic bullfighting events: bullfighters, horses, and cattle in action, captured with expressive power through contrasts of light and shadow. The printmaking technique, with its firm, detailed lines, preserves the gestural and narrative intensity of the original Goya-esque. These prints, arranged in multiple frames, reflect the importance of bullfighting in Spanish visual culture and Goya's relevance as an artistic reference. Their collector's and documentary nature links them to the Spanish graphic tradition, which has a strong historical and popular influence.
