The crossguard is shaped like a crook and ends in a pommel depicting a lion's mask. The body knot is chased with an ancient helmet and foliage motifs. Single-branch guard. The blade is engraved in its upper third with military and botanical motifs. Iron scabbard with beautiful brass fittings echoing the motifs of the hilt. Beautifully crafted scabbard tip composed of several elements. First Empire period. L. 98.
