The body is carved with garlands of foliage and flowers framed by waves at the top and bottom. The handle features leafy branches applied as an appliqué to the body. The rim is decorated with large flowers and foliage resting on two successive waves with striated patterns. The original inner bowl is hallmarked identically to the soup tureen. Paris hallmark, 1735.
