353 - GILBERT (Attributed to). LOUIS XVI SECRETARY SPECTACULAR with flap in precious wood veneer, mainly rosewood, sycamore and tulipwood. It is decorated with a marquetry of animated landscapes and antique architecture on the flap and on the 2 doors. The upper part opens with a drawer entirely adorned with a frieze of bronze scrolls and quatrefoils, housing the 2 pulls. The flap reveals an interior of niches and drawers in good condition. The jambs are canted, with a projecting back. Top in Aleppo Breche marble from the Pyrenees. (Restoration of some bronzes). 18th c. H.136 L.78 P.36.
