VESOUL 1784 Exceptional silver sprinkling spoon, in perfect condition, “filet” style, the blade adorned with a raised filigree design on both the front and back and engraved at the time of its creation with a monogram of intertwined letters in the English style within a laurel shield topped by a floral crown (probably to celebrate a marriage). The re-stamped design features a ten-petaled flower at its center, followed by a row of braids framed by two scalloped rows that echo the spoon’s rim. Between the two, a design imitating openwork wickerwork—both curved and vertical—completes the ensemble.
