Articulated FISH PENDANT in 18K yellow gold (750/1000), with a body engraved with scales and eyes set with green glass cabochons. Owl hallmark. Length: 4.6 cm - Gross weight: 4.8 g (scratches) In many traditions, the fish is associated with good luck and protection. In China in particular, it is a symbol of wealth and abundance. The articulated form, which appeared in Western jewelry during the Victorian era, adds to this symbolism the idea of movement and vitality: the movable segments give the fish the illusion of swimming and thus seem to breathe life into it.
