Bing (20th century): Portrait of a Man in a Suit—Portrait of a man in a suit with a serious expression, 20th century, photogravure Technique: Photogravure on Inscription: Signed in the lower right corner of the printing plate: "Fot: B. Bing, Wien". Date: 20th century Description: The image depicts a middle-aged man with short hair and a distinctive mustache. The serious, focused facial expression and the formal attire suggest a person from the upper middle class or political circles of the period around 1900–1920. A facsimile signature, presumably “Schänker” or similar, can be seen at the bottom edge of the sheet, but it has not yet been possible to attribute it to a clearly identified individual.
