Date: 1897 Description: The artwork depicts the facades of the so-called Silberzeile in Schärding. The architectural rendering of several buildings reflects the stylistic elements of traditional European urban architecture. The implied shops on the ground floor and the curved facades of the residential buildings lend the work a narrative quality about city life.
