Modern binding by Bellevallée. Endpapers replaced. 79 pp. A rare edition published five years after the original (1650 by Toussainct Quinet) of the third comedy by Scarron (1610–1660). A play inspired by a Spanish work (El Mayorazgo by Alonso de Castillo Solórzano). The young Dom Diègue is in love with Hélène de Torres.
