Oblong 16mo (6.5 x 17 cm), paperback, fold-out pages, gray embossed cover adorned on the upper front with an original composition. Unpaginated [6 leaves]; 7 original paintings. Slight fading of the compositions. Artist’s book printed in an edition of 15 original and unique copies; this is copy no. 15, signed in pencil by the artist. It includes 7 compositions (original paintings) by Joël Leick, an artist from Thionville (Moselle), which accompany a text by Charles Nodier on the definition of the verb “to be.” A copy belonging to the writer Mathieu Bénézet and his wife Olga (inscribed in pencil on the top endpaper).
