GREGOIRE, François. The Years of Painting. Châteauneuf-sur-Isère, Ed. Lambert, 1984. In-8 (22.5 x 16 cm), loose-leaf, printed cover. Unpaginated [16 leaves]. First edition, printed in a limited run of only 50 copies on 150-gram matte-coated paper. This copy, the first to come off the press, bears the number 1 and includes a signed dedication from the author, François Grégoire, to Olga and Mathieu Bénézet. Also included is a proof of the first four printed folios of the work with handwritten corrections by the author, as well as extensive correspondence between François and Mathieu (20 handwritten letters addressed to Bénézet: letters of thanks, invitations, publication proposals, etc.). In excellent condition.
