Gilded edges. 100-116-115-148 pp. A rare Elzevir edition of works by the Abbé de Saint-Real. Title page featuring a globe. The volume contains, in four separately paginated parts, the following works: *L'Usage de l'Histoire* (first published in 1671); *Dom Carlos: A Historical and Gallant Tale* (1672); *Conjuration des Espagnols contre la République de Venise* (1674); *Entretiens Historiques et Moraux* (1684). Copy preserved in a lovely 19th-century binding (Simier). In excellent condition.
