Folio size, dull beige cardboard slipcase with flaps, decorated with the title in two tones and a black Corinthian capital with a finial. 60 color plates mounted on heavy paper and a 43-page explanatory leaflet in quarto format. The fold of the flaps is partially torn. A beautiful, colorful album, the first volume in a series of four intended to compare the ornamentation of the major ancient cultures. Good condition.
