Italian chandelier, first half of the 19th century 120 x 90 cm An eight-light chandelier made of finely carved and gilded wood. The circular frame features rich decoration with palmette and plant motifs, from which eight curved arms adorned with volutes extend. Suspended by chains with oval links, it is embellished with cut-glass pendants and terminates at the bottom with a large hemispherical bowl of cut glass featuring a lattice pattern.
