Lidded cup on a foot Made of brass. The straight body is engraved with classical motifs and has a rounded bottom, adorned with a frieze of delicate lanceolate leaves; it rests on a short turned stem, decorated with a flat knob and ending in a molded circular foot. It is complemented by a hinged lid, featuring a slight central protrusion adorned with an engraved flower and topped by a small finial. The rim of the lid is adorned with a frieze of flowers arranged in juxtaposed registers. Swirling handle and thumb rest imitating a scroll. Formerly silver-plated and interior formerly tin-plated.
