TWO POSTERS: 1) AIROLDI GALLERIA DEL NAVIGLIO, MILAN – DECEMBER 1969 – JANUARY 1970. Dimensions: 43.5 x 60 cm. This poster commemorates the 538th solo exhibition by Italian artist Nena Airoldi, held at the historic Galleria del Naviglio in Milan. This was a very important moment for the artist, as it was her very first solo exhibition. The catalog and the exhibition featured a renowned introduction by Bruno Munari, who wrote a profound reflection on the complexity hidden behind the purity of the artist’s forms (source: https://www.nena-airoldi.ch/). 2) ANTIFORMA 6X6=150 ALBATROS ART GALLERY FAL DECEMBER 17–31, 1973 ROME BENDANDI – BERG – DE PASCALIS – GREVI – MINARDO – PESSIONE. Dimensions: 45 x 60 cm. The term “Antiforma” (Anti-Form) refers to an international artistic movement and trend theorized in the late 1960s (particularly by the artist Robert Morris in 1968). It challenged the rigid, geometric, and fixed form of Minimalism in favor of flexible, fluid, perishable, or everyday materials, where the creative process and gravity determined the final form of the work. In Italy, this trend often intersected with Arte Povera and conceptual art. The provocative geometric-mathematical expression in the title (6X6=150) clearly plays on the concept of subverting formal and logical rules, typical of the avant-garde movements of those years (source: https://quadriennalediroma.org/larchivio/). Extremely rare.
