MOTTAGRILL CANTAGALLO NOVELTY CENTER ADVERTISING POSTER, published by Edizioni del Cavallino. Extremely rare. The Mottagrill in Cantagallo, inaugurated on April 29, 1961, by Angelo Motta, is located on the Autostrada del Sole (A1) in Casalecchio di Reno (Bologna). With its distinctive 70-meter-long bridge structure spanning the highway, it was for decades a true icon and the largest highway rest stop in Europe, designed to include restaurants, bookstores, post offices, and the famous pastry shop. Created using tissue paper applied to paper, mounted by hand using six discreet dots of glue, employing a mounting technique typical of the art portfolios published by Edizioni del Cavallino. The lightweight tissue paper featuring the advertising graphics of the Mottagrill Cantagallo Novelty Center is perfectly proportioned on the mat. Dimensions: 36 x 50 cm on an original mat measuring 48 x 70 cm.
