TWO POSTERS: 1) CALICE L. ARTISTIC COOPERATIVE — "COPART" IN SAVONA, STARTING AUGUST 14, 1969: PERMANENT EXHIBITION OF GRAPHIC WORKS AND MULTIPLES. Poster of the Calice Ligure Art Cooperative (“COPART”). This is the official visual identity poster printed specifically to mark the founding of the cooperative and to inaugurate the permanent exhibition in Savona on August 14, 1969. The Calice Ligure community revolved around the historic core consisting of Emilio Scanavino, Théodore Koenig, and Jean Raine, joined over time by other internationally prominent figures such as Tadini, Mondino, and the Belgians of the Phantomas/CoBrA movement. Copart’s goal was to “democratize” art. 50 x 70 cm. 2) GUARIENTI REBUS, RIDDLES, ODDITIES, GALLERIA DEL NAVIGLIO, MILAN, MARCH 1970. Printed and published by the well-known Edizioni del Naviglio, the poster adopted the same aesthetic and textual approach as the exhibition’s monographic catalog. Prominently featured on it was the emblematic title chosen by the artist: “Rebus, Enigmi, Bizzarrie.” 42 x 63 cm. The poster pertains to the famous solo exhibition by artist Carlo Guarienti (1923–2023), held at the historic Galleria del Naviglio in Milan in March 1970.
