MANIFESTO OF THE SPATIAL MOVEMENT FOR TELEVISION. The Manifesto is a historic artistic document drafted on May 17, 1952, and printed by the historic Scarabellin Printing House in Milan for the Galleria del Naviglio. The “Spatial Movement,” led by Lucio Fontana, had its origins and held its historic exhibitions at the Galleria del Naviglio in Milan (founded by Carlo and Renato Cardazzo), and among its signatories, the only woman was Milena Milani, a writer, artist, intellectual, and partner of Carlo Cardazzo. The poster measures 50 x 70 cm. It was signed by numerous artists and intellectuals of the time (including Ambrosini, Burri, Crippa, De Luigi, Dova, and Fontana himself) and was unveiled during a historic experimental broadcast by RAI in Milan. This text marks the beginning of the integration between Spatialist art and the new media. There is a small tear without loss at the top corner and a very slight loss along the top edge. The poster is in excellent overall condition. Extremely rare.
