TWO POSTERS: 1) TEARDO GALLERIA DEL NAVIGLIO MILAN FEB. 1969. Advertising poster created for the 516th exhibition at the Galleria del Naviglio in Milan, dedicated to the artist Angelo Giorgio Teardo. The central white panel plays on the optical and typographic repetition of the artist’s surname, Teardo, creating a geometric offset effect. At the bottom, the clean, geometric typeface stands out for the gallery details: “Galleria Del Naviglio Milano Feb. 1969.” Dimensions: 45 x 60 cm. 2) 1 OPENING POSTER printed for a group exhibition of contemporary art held at Ada Zunino’s historic art gallery in Milan (then located at Via Turati 8 in Milan). The poster was created for the exhibition, which took place from January 30 to February 20, 1975. The exhibition featured works by a large group of important 20th-century Italian artists, whose first and last names are listed in the center, above the large red geometric shape resembling the number 1. The poster was a limited-edition item, produced exclusively for visitors and collectors of the Ada Zunino Art Gallery during the three-week exhibition in Milan in 1975. Rare. Dimensions: 44 x 60 cm.
