AT THE REGIS GALLERY IN FINALE LIGURE. This is a famous poster featuring minimalist graphics and design; it was designed by AG Fronzoni (the pseudonym of Angiolo Giuseppe Fronzoni) in 1968. The poster was created to promote a group exhibition at the historic Galleria Regis in Finale Ligure. The exhibition brought together three key figures of the art scene of that period: Guido Biasi, Aurelio Caminati, and Gianni Dova (source: https://fondazionescanavino.org/it/info/pubblicazioni2). For this occasion, AG Fronzoni used his signature “circular” layout in red for the secondary information (the date and the painters’ names), allowing the massive asymmetrical text in black to define the visual space of the page (source: https://www.agfronzoni.com/manifesti/).
