CEROLI MARCH–APRIL 1968 GALLERIA DEL NAVIGLIO. Dimensions: 44 x 60 cm. Original vintage exhibition poster. The work behind the artist refers to the famous series of imposing, geometric horses made of raw wood (usually pine or plywood), which the artist began creating in the mid-1960s. Printing on heavy paper was a hallmark of the editions produced by the Galleria del Naviglio in Milan. Under the direction of Carlo Cardazzo and later his brothers, the gallery treated the posters not merely as street advertisements, but as genuine collectible graphic works linked to the exhibition.
