Manuscript of 49 ff., written only on the recto side on “Paris-Presse” letterhead. This copy is supplemented by a dedication and an unpublished handwritten chapter signed “my friend Robert Desnos (6 folios in-8 written only on the front and 1 folio typewritten).” Autograph dedication by the author, dated October 25, 1951: “To Eduardo Aviles Ramirez, I offer this humble manuscript of my book on Robert Desnos, as a token of affection and in memory.”
