The body is engraved with: CETTE MESURE A ESTE ETALONNEE / SUR LA MATRICE DES ETALONNEURS / DE L’HOTEL DE VILLE DE PARIS SUIVANT / LE PROCES VERBAL DU 13-8E-1768.
