CORINNE REYNAUD (AKA NINA SCOTT) AND LAURENT MALET During the filming of Peter del Monte’s movie, 1982. Photo by Sarah Moon, vintage RC print, stamped by the photographer and annotated on the back. 17.7 x 23.5 cm. Note: Corinne Reynaud, credited as Nina Scott, plays Nina, a young rock singer, while Laurent Malet plays Lucien, her twin brother. Bound by a deeply close relationship, the two characters are brutally separated by Nina’s accidental death. Unable to accept her passing, Lucien hides his sister’s body in a double bass case and embarks on a strange journey across France with her. This dreamlike drama, shot for the screen by Bruno Nuytten and set to music by Gabriel Yared, was presented in competition at the Cannes Film Festival, where it received the award for Best Artistic Contribution in 1982.
